If you follow me on Instagram, you already know how much I enjoy using Flatout breads in everyday meals. They really are like a blank canvas in the kitchen. Whether I am making breakfast, lunch, dinner, a snack, or even dessert, there is always a creative way to turn one of their wraps, fold-its, or thin crusts into something satisfying. A lot of people think of Flatout breads only as a base for pizza, and while I definitely love their thin crust pizza breads, there are so many more ways to use them. From sweet breakfast wraps to grilled sandwiches, taco bowls, quesadillas, and dessert crisps, these simple meal ideas are easy, flexible, and perfect when you want something tasty without overcomplicating your day.
This cinnamon banana pancake sandwich is made with a Flatout Foldit and is a delicious way to change up breakfast. The soft bread works perfectly as a base for warm banana and cinnamon flavors, giving you that cozy pancake-style taste in a handheld sandwich. It is simple, filling, and a fun option when you want something sweet in the morning without making a full stack of pancakes.
Banana, peanut butter, and dark chocolate make a rich and decadent combination. This Flatout treat was baked in the oven until warm and melty, creating a dessert-style snack that feels indulgent but still fits into a balanced day. At 5sp/4pp, it is a great choice when you are craving something sweet, chocolatey, and satisfying.
Chocolate cream cheese and banana rolled inside a Flatout Original Light makes a quick breakfast, light lunch, or sweet snack. Once rolled and sliced, it becomes easy to serve and even easier to enjoy. The creamy chocolate filling pairs beautifully with the banana, and the whole serving comes in at 4sp/4pp.
For a savory option, this chicken, cheese, bacon, and ranch sandwich is made with a Flatout Foldit and grilled in a pan with cooking spray. It uses 1 ounce of shredded chicken, 2 tablespoons of cheese, 1 slice of low-point bacon, and 1/2 tablespoon of light ranch dressing. The result is a warm, cheesy, flavorful sandwich for 6sp/5pp.
A buffalo chicken grilled sandwich on a Flatout Foldit is always a good idea. Mix 2 ounces of cooked chicken with 1 tablespoon of light cream cheese, 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese, 1 tablespoon of light ranch dressing, and 1 tablespoon of Frank’s hot sauce. Spread the mixture on the Foldit, grill it with cooking spray, and enjoy a spicy, creamy sandwich for 6 smart points.
Cheesy bacon roll-ups made with a ProteinUP Flatout are another delicious lunch idea, and they also work well as a party snack. They are easy to slice, serve, and share, with plenty of cheesy bacon flavor in every bite. The full serving comes in at 8pp, making it a fun and satisfying option when you want something a little different.
Flatout Originals can also be shaped into a taco bowl for taco salad. If you have oven-safe taco bowl pans, they work really well for this idea. Once baked into shape, the bread becomes a lighter base for taco meat, cheese, lettuce, vegetables, salsa, or any of your favorite toppings. It is a great way to keep points lower while still enjoying the flavor and texture of a taco salad bowl.
One of my favorite pizzas to make is taco pizza on a spicy Italian Flatout thin pizza bread. Add 1/3 cup of cheese, 5 ounces of taco-seasoned ground beef, and vegetables, then bake at 350F for 5 to 7 minutes. It is a flavorful dinner option with all the taco-inspired toppings you love, and the full pizza comes in at 12sp/10pp.
Flatout Originals are also great for quesadillas. Fill them with chicken, cheese, and your favorite toppings, then bake in the oven at 350F for about 10 to 15 minutes. The bread crisps up nicely while the filling gets warm and melty, making this an easy lunch or dinner when you want something simple and comforting.
Chicken with grilled peppers and onions makes another excellent Flatout sandwich. Cook the chicken, peppers, and onions in a pan on the stove, then add your preferred seasonings. I like adding Frank’s hot sauce for extra flavor. Spread the mixture onto a Flatout Foldit, drizzle with ranch dressing, add cheese if you like, and bake for 5 to 7 minutes.
Pizza does not have to be limited to dinner. This dessert pizza is made on a white Flatout thin pizza bread and topped with Cool Whip, sliced fruit, and a drizzle of melted dark chocolate. It is colorful, sweet, and refreshing, making it a fun treat for dessert or an afternoon snack when you want something light but still special.
These cinnamon sugar crisps are another easy dessert or anytime snack. Cut 1 Flatout Foldit into 8 triangles, spray the pieces with cooking spray, then mix 1/2 tablespoon of sugar with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and sprinkle it over the bread. Bake at 350F for 5 to 7 minutes, then top with strawberries and a drizzle of melted dark chocolate. All 8 pieces come to 6sp/4pp, and they are absolutely delicious.
